Fur cannot be tailored to narrow the waist, so to create an hourglass shape, a soft leather or fabric belt will be required. But fur can be cut and restyled, as fashions change.

Mink is the most durable of luxury furs. Always hang your coat on a wide coat hanger to preserve the shoulder shape. To maintain its glossy sheen, hang the coat in a cool, dry closet.
