— EMBA red fox fur coat (100% real Scandinavian fox fur). Made from Finnish blue fox, dyed to a wonder red-orange-brown. Has concealed metal hook-clip fasteners. Has an inner waist tie, which gives a more hourglass silhouette when worn. Vertical layers adds greater freedom of movement. Hem ends around upper-thigh on 5'6" woman. Made in Iwate, in Northern Japan.

— Very Good condition. Pre-owned but well-kept. No marks. No significant damage, but slight abrasion at the hem and fasteners (see photos). Fur is still lustrous with no noticeable hair loss. Clean.

About Fox Fur

Fox fur has long, soft guard hairs and luxurious fluffy underfur. Despite its volume, fox fur has a soft, airy feel and beautiful flowing movement. Compared to mink, fox is incredibly warm and snow-resistant, but due to the sheer density of hairs, they are heavier. Fox coats always appear strikingly stylish and majestic.

Fitting & Styling

Fox fur is thick and voluminous, giving it that glamourous look. Every coat is handmade, and may not follow standard sizing. Please compare the measurements provided to a coat you own. Fur cannot be tailored to narrow the waist, so to create an hourglass shape, a soft leather or fabric belt will be required. But fur can be cut and restyled, as fashions change.

Care Instructions

Because fox fur compresses and humidifies during shipping, please hang your coat on a wide coat hanger in a well-ventilated room for 48 hours. Gentle strokes with a wide toothed comb will help. A mild storage scent is common after transit, especially in warm weather, but it will dissipate once the coat is aired out. Normally, fur should be hung in cool, dry closet. Never wrap fur in plastic; only enclose with natural fabrics. Never spray perfumes directly onto the fur. After use in rain or snow, let it air-dry naturally, away from heat sources or strong sunlight.
