— Saga is a Finnish company and the world’s leading fur auction house. Their premium and strictly certified furs are sourced from Norway, Holland and Denmark.

 — Mitsukoshi produces and sells high-end luxury fur coats, frequently crafted from genuine mink, fox, and other fine pelts under its own department store branding or via dedicated artisan furrier lines. They has retailed luxury apparel, Kimonos, and western furs since the 20th century (with vintage pieces frequently appearing on secondary markets)

— The Aomori Collection is a special Winter collection for 2026-27, some of the finest coats, sourced from North Japan. Historically, the southern 'Yamato' japanese forbade the slaughter of four-legged animals for many centuries due to Buddhist and Shinto beliefs. But in the snowy mountains of Tōhoku and Hokkaido, indigenous people relied on fur for survival. Hence, the Northern 'Emishi' Japanese are known to have strong emotional connections to their fur clothing.

— Like new condition. Pre-owned but almost brand new with tag. No noticeable marks or damage. Fur in perfect condition with no hair loss, and no tanning. Clean.

About Fox Fur

Fox fur has long, soft guard hairs and luxurious fluffy underfur. Despite its volume, fox fur has a soft, airy feel and beautiful flowing movement. Compared to mink, fox is incredibly warm and snow-resistant, but due to the sheer density of hairs, they are heavier. Fox coats always appear strikingly stylish and majestic.

Care Instructions

Because fox fur compresses and humidifies during shipping, please hang your coat on a wide coat hanger in a well-ventilated room for 48 hours. Gentle strokes with a wide toothed comb will help. A mild storage scent is common after transit, especially in warm weather, but it will dissipate once the coat is aired out. Normally, fur should be hung in cool, dry closet. Never wrap fur in plastic; only enclose with natural fabrics. Never spray perfumes directly onto the fur. After use in rain or snow, let it air-dry naturally, away from heat sources or strong sunlight.

Fitting & Styling

Fox fur is thick and voluminous, giving it that glamourous look. Every coat is handmade, and may not follow standard sizing. Please compare the measurements provided to a coat you own. Fur cannot be tailored to narrow the waist, so to create an hourglass shape, a soft leather or fabric belt will be required. But fur can be cut and restyled, as fashions change.

Origin & Ethics

We only sell coats assembled from pelts of Arctic Fox (Vulpes Lagopus) or Silver/Red Fox (Vulpes Vulpes) or variants thereof, and only those ranched and raised decades ago by reputable historic breeders. We do not source or sell modern fur, nor any products derived from endangered or CITES-appendix protected species. By recycling and preserving these heritage luxury pieces, we hope to give them a second life and completely bypass the modern commercial fur industry.
